Research tracks at ICWE2014

Paper categories in the research tracks:

  • Full research: mature, original research contribution ideally accompanied with some kind of formal and/or empirical validation, evidence of use in practice with reportedly information about real-life usage and/or demonstration of scalability of the proposal (18 pages);
  • Late breaking results: description of preliminary results and/or ongoing efforts that present new ideas and concepts, but lack the completeness (e.g., validation, evaluation, implementation) of full research papers. This category focuses on allowing authors of promising work to attend ICWE, offering a venue for discussion and new ideas (10 pages);
  • Industrial papers description of commercial solutions that are highly innovative, discuss trends in the market and/or challenge the community to find solutions to new problems (18 pages).

In addition to the six research tracks, ICWE also welcomes contributions as demos and posters, student papers to the PhD Symposium, tutorials and workshops.
