Notice to authors: guidelines for preparing camera-ready version of your papers!

  • Take into account reviewers’ comments whilst preparing the camera-ready version of your contribution and prepare a short letter explaining the changes you have made in the paper and/or a justification for those comments you didn’t accommodate. Careful, this notice with be cross-checked by the conference chairs; failure to satisfactory address comments may still lead to rejection of your paper.
  • Make sure your paper adhere to the Springer LNCS publication format, and strictly conform with the page limit according to your paper type (see below).
  • Complete and duly sign the Springer LNCS copyright form. The copyright must be signed by at least one of the authors and sent as a PDF or an image file (.JPEG or .TIF).
  • Finally, submit a single zip file, containing: 1/ your notice letter explaining changes (titled “changes.pdf”), 2/ the final, camera-ready version of your paper as pdf file (titled “<paper-number>.pdf”), 3/ all source files (either MS Word or Latex) in a sub-directory (titled “source”),  4/ the duly signed Springer LNCS copyright form. If you are sending Latex, please make sure that your have added all external files (images, .bib, .tex, .cls, etc) in the package. Be aware that if files are missing, you risk that your contribution will not be included in the proceedings.
  • Submit the zip file to the same easychair installation you originally used: https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icwe2014 (for research papers and late breaking results) or https://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=icwe14demos (for posters and demos), no later than the camera-ready deadline
  • Register at the conference! In order to make sure your paper will appear in the LNCS proceedings, at least one author must be registered at the conference as regular attendee (student registration not valid for research papers and late-breaking results; one registration counts for one paper) by the camera-ready deadline: April 11th 2014. Don’t forget to mention the ID number of your submission into the registration form. Notice that one registration (either full or student) is required per paper.
  • In case you have any further questions concerning your publication, please contact your track chairs or the program chairs.

Publication information

All accepted contributions (research, industrial, demo & poster, phd symposium, workshop & tutorial summary) will be included in these main proceedings. However, take note of page limits in the different tracks:

  • Research papers: 18 pages
  • Late breaking results: 10 pages
  • Demos & Posters track: 4 pages
  • Tutorial track: 2 pages
  • Description of workshops: 4 pages
  • Phd Symposium position papers: 4 pages

Notice that contributions to ICWE workshops are not included in the main ICWE conference proceedings. For publication details of the ICWE workshops, please contact workshop organizers for further information.

ICWE 2014 best papers will be invited for a special issue of the JCR indexed Journal of Web Engineering!
